Bio: Julie has been practicing Pilates for over fifteen years and yoga for the last ten years. Encouraged by her progress and curiosity of movement, anatomy and well-being, she wanted to share Pilates and Yoga with others. Julie earned her teaching certification in Pilates through Fit for Life Pilates in Geneva, Switzerland where she learned to teach both mat work and machines (Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel). Her certification is endorsed by the Pilates Method Alliance. Pilates teacher training further fueled Julie's passion to help others enhance their own physical well-being and she continued her study and certification in 500 hour Yoga Therapy (pre- and post-natal, Yoga for Kids, Osteoporosis, and Back Reeducation Therapy) and 200 hour yoga teacher training (2015). Julie has a love of learning and dedication to her practice that will continue to add value to her adaptable teaching style. Her academic knowledge coupled with her dedication keeps her classes safe and interesting. Julie uses cheerful encouragement to offer challenging classes that will leave you feeling like you accomplished your exercise goals in a fun and relaxing environment. Her goal is for her students to build strength and flexibility in a mindful way that will keep them making health a priority for life.
